In May 2022, I realized my long held dream of walking the Camino de Santiago. I chose the Portuguese Coastal route, starting on the beach boardwalk north of Porto, arriving twenty days later in Santiago, Galacia, Spain. The “easy” way, true to my sauntering nature, I worked with Portugal Green Walks to design a walk that would give me time to take in the vistas and villages, savoring the food and the culture, writing, photography, and painting.
